Family, Seniors and Recreation

Family and Seniors Policy

The Family and Seniors Policy stems from the clearly expressed desire of its citizens to live in a pleasant, dynamic and inclusive living environment. Updated on an ongoing basis, it reflects the vitality of the community of Barnston-Ouest and aims to support both our young families and our elders.

A vibrant community life, an exceptional living environment

The Way’s Mills Quilting Club

The quilting club is open to all interested persons, even those who have no experience in sewing. The meetings are held once a week at the Community Centre in Way’s Mills in a bilingual environment.

It is a place of exchange and camaraderie. Members bring their work, work tools and lunch. It’s a free workshop that allows you to exchange tips, ideas and share a passion. It’s very stimulating and, above all, it’s free. The group also works occasionally on group projects. If you are interested in quilting, come and visit us.

The club takes a break during the summer season.
